Uniting for a Worthy Cause: Agape Villages Tri-Valley

As May unfolds, a month dedicated to Foster Care Awareness, Agape Villages Tri-Valley takes the lead in spreading awareness and extending support to foster children within our community. Recently, they organized an extraordinary fundraiser and mixer, capturing the attention and hearts of local Tri-Valley residents to bring hope and positive change to the lives of vulnerable children.

By actively participating in this event, community members displayed their unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of foster children. This unique platform not only aimed to raise funds but also sought to shed light on the challenges faced by foster children and the urgent need for support. The fundraiser and mixer featured a range of engaging activities designed to educate, entertain, and empower attendees. Keynote speakers shared their experiences, shedding light on the challenges faced by foster children and the transformative power of community support. Local businesses and organizations set up booths, offering information and resources to those seeking to get involved. From silent auctions to raffles, every aspect of the event was meticulously planned to foster a sense of unity and compassion.

Agape Villages is a licensed foster family agency placing children in foster homes in communities throughout Northern California. They accept referrals from California’s Department of Social Services, Child Protective Services, and County Mental Health Departments. They serve disadvantaged children, adolescents, and young adults from newborn to 21 years of age. Agape is also a licensed adoption agency, serving our families, children, and youth through the permanency of adoption. The Vinay Kruttiventi Foundation commends their tireless efforts and encourages Tri-Valley residents to continue supporting organizations like Agape Villages Tri-Valley, making a positive impact on the lives of foster children within our community. Together, we can create a brighter future for every child in foster care.
