Recently, we partnered with 100 Black Men of Orange County in their mentoring program to empower the youth to make right life and career choices. The social, cultural and emotional needs of the youth, primarily the African American males are addressed through this mentorship program. As part of the mentoring program, we spoke to the youth to identify their primary shortcomings and guided them through to make right career decisions. Mentoring can help youth develop important life skills, build confidence, and set goals for their future. It was a very insightful session for us too, as we interacted with the youth of today to understand what are the most pressing issues in their mind and how together we can help solve them.
